Prof. Paul Frijters
Paul Frijters is Professor of Wellbeing Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE), specialising in happiness and health economics. He completed his Masters of Econometrics at the University of Groningen and his PhD at the University of Amsterdam. He has (co-)authored around 150 papers, 6 books, and is in the top 1% of cited economists. Paul is interested in all aspects of social science, but particularly wellbeing and public policy, and he currently serves as an advisor to the UK government on how to implement wellbeing policies. Before joining the LSE he was based in Brisbane, where (like Gigi) he was also named the Young Economist of the Year.
